Sharing God’s Word Across Nepal and Beyond
For millions of Nepali-speaking people, access to clear, Bible-based Christian teaching is still limited. Through Jeewit Bachan, Reach Nepal is using digital media to make biblical truth accessible wherever people live—whether in Nepal, elsewhere in South Asia, or in Nepali communities around the world.
From our media studio approximately three hours south of Kathmandu, we produce and distribute Bible-centered programs designed to help people understand Scripture, grow in their faith, and connect with the message of Jesus.
Creating Bible-Based Content in Nepali
Our production team records and develops a growing variety of programs, including:
- Bible Questions & Answers addressing practical and theological questions
- Weekly Adult Sabbath School Panel discussions
- Topical Bible presentations on important spiritual themes
- Bible documentaries translated and voiced in Nepali
- Children’s Bible stories translated and produced for younger audiences
By creating this content in the heart language of our viewers, we are able to communicate biblical truth in a way that is understandable, relevant, and easy to share.
Reaching People Wherever They Are
Jeewit Bachan content is distributed through YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, our website, and mobile app.
Individual programs have reached tens of thousands of viewers, allowing biblical messages produced in a small studio in Nepal to reach people far beyond the walls of a local church.
Our audience includes viewers throughout Nepal and around the world. Some live in communities where there is little Adventist presence—and, in some cases, very little Christian presence of any kind.
Digital ministry gives these viewers an opportunity to hear Bible teaching that may otherwise be difficult for them to access.
A Church Community Online
Jeewit Bachan is more than a collection of videos.
Each week, we host an online worship service as well as an online prayer meeting, providing opportunities for people to worship, study, pray, and remain spiritually connected even when they cannot regularly attend a local congregation.
For isolated believers, seekers, and those living far from an Adventist church, this online community can provide an important connection to Christian fellowship and biblical teaching.
Building the Next Generation of Digital Ministry
Our current Jeewit Bachan website and mobile app are live, actively used, and maintained, providing access to much of our video and Bible content. At the same time, we are developing the next generation of the platform with a completely modernized experience and significantly expanded capabilities.
The new platform is being designed as a central digital resource for spiritual growth, bringing together worship, Bible study, media, discipleship resources, and opportunities for meaningful connection in one place.
Planned features include:
- A greatly expanded library of sermons, Bible studies, documentaries, and other media
- Organized Bible study and spiritual-growth resources
- Content for children and families
- Livestreamed and recorded worship programs
- Prayer and ministry resources
- Easier discovery of relevant content
- Personalized access to spiritual resources
- A modern mobile experience designed for continued growth
Our goal is not simply to build another media app, but to create a digital ministry platform that can help people move from watching content to studying Scripture, growing spiritually, and becoming actively connected with the mission of the church.
Reaching Beyond One Language
The technology behind the new Jeewit Bachan platform is being developed so that it can eventually serve other language groups as well.
The first planned expansion is Tamil, allowing the same underlying platform to support another major South Asian language while providing each audience with its own culturally and linguistically appropriate content.
This creates the potential for a digital ministry developed in Nepal to become a much broader tool for evangelism and discipleship.
